Indian coorg coffee are known globally  for its balanced and mild flavour. They possess good body, low acidity and fine aroma. The overall taste profile is very unique with spicy overtones. These spicy overtones come from the cinnamon, cardamom, nutmeg, cloves and pepper that grow alongside the coffee trees. Sometimes you find hints of earthiness.
 
ASHWA Inc. is a green bean supplier that focuses on single estate coffees from India. We work with progressive growers who follow stringent growing, processing and curing norms. Our family own estates [ HANCODE COFFEE ESTATE ] also have stringent plantation and employee management program in place. We produce Arabicas & Robustas, all under three tiered shade system.
 
Our premium brands :
 
A1: High altitude Arabica coffee from our premium new estates. Washed, pulped, fermented and naturally patio-dried.
A2 : washed Arabica hot favorite for stand-alone coffee. Large bold beans with a brilliant smooth taste profile.
A3 : This coffee is closest to any natural coffee you will ever find. The beans are allowed to dry in the fruit on the coffee bush itself. Once it reaches a certain moisture level,  the beans are hand-picked, hulled and garbled meticulously.
A4: Arabica beans are picked at peak, pulped and sun-dried on a brick patio. This is an unwashed, dry-processed coffee.
A5: is a WASHED ROBUSTA with extremely stringent growing, processing and curing norms.
 
Other Indian Speciality coffee:
 
Monsooned Malabar : Monsooned Coffee beans Swollen with moisture from the air, is prepared at curing works situated on the west coast of southern India, Stored in special warehouse, moist monsoon winds circulate around the coffee beans making them swell in size and take on a mellowed but aggressive, musty flavor. This process yellows the bean and reduces the acidity, imparting a heavy, syrupy flatness reminiscent of aged coffees.
For preparing monsooned coffee only dry processed Arabica & Robusta beans are used. The Coffee are mainly used in blends to mellow and impact richness to rougher, more acidly coffee. The best grade in monsooned coffee is MONSOONED MALABAR AA.
 
Monsooned Malabar : This wonderful and exotic coffee are prepared from washed Arabica. The  beans are very large, uniform bluish green in colour, with a clean polished appearance.
In the cup, the coffee exhibits full aroma, medium to good body, good acidity and fine flavor with a hint of spice. This is a rare, premium coffee and truly represents the best quality from India.
